The title will only make sense to those of you who have read the book version of Queen of the Damned. The movie will give you no answers, as this part was left out. In a scene in the book, Armand and several other vampires are conversing in Central Park in New York City. I always thought it would look a little strange to see a teenager in no coat other than a denim jacket in late October in New York. Brrr. And so, another Armand artwork.
Thank you so much. ^-^ Does he look kissable to you? To me, he looks like he needs love. I'm glad you like the crosshatching. It was really just because I was being lazy *laughs*.
His jacket was a pain in the ass. I don't like drawing clothes. I'm much better at drawing naked bodies. ^-^'

"All right, okay, yeah, forget about it, so what, stop the hand wringing, sure sure, knock it off, cool it, shove it, eh?"
You could try an anatomy book. That's what I use. Not for heads, but for bodies. I find it incredibly useful. It's how I learned to start drawing characters naked too. ^-^
I guess clothes aren't too terrible, unless I'm really trying, like I was with his jacket.

hahahahhahah... anatomy books. (Sweatdrop.) I reallllyyy hate those things. I have a few of them, and I know they help, but they always seem to make me worse. And, I get frustrated and impatient too easily to use them.
I'm horrible when it comes to patience.

I KNEW IT. I was reading your journal and stuff, and was thinking to myself, "I sense that here is an Armand fangirl." And lo! I was right.

99.9% of the world's teenagers would die if Abercrombie&Fitch said it was uncool to breath. Put this in your signature if you'd be one of the incredibly minuscule percent who'd look up from 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' and say, 'What?'
I confess, I am an obvious fangirl. I'm not sure, I haven't looked at my gallery, but I think my pictures of Armand outnumber my pictures of anyone else. Of course, my pictures of Lestat might rival that, if only deviantART had some different rules. *smirks* In any case, I adore Armand, that much is true.

Who DOESN'T adore Armand, evil adorable demon-child who just wants love that he is? And it seems the VampChron characters agree...

For the most part, anyway, yes. He is lovable, though. My favorite moments are the moments when he seems most unstable. You get a true glimpse into his mind, the logic and illogic of it, what he really thinks, how he loses his temper. I think a person is most truly revealed when they are releasing raw emotion. What do you think?
